Michael Tyson-Vocals/Guitar Travis Harris-Guitar/Vocals Brian Miller-Bass Josh Young-Drums Biography Starting as a collaboration project between two friends, C of Cortez began with Michael Tyson and Travis Harris. From the ashes of the north-east regional band, Kavanah Star, they joined forces to embark on a project that is both fresh and new to them. With no set genre or predetermined style, the result is a five song EP. Harris and Tyson collaborated closely on each song and played every instrument, except for the drums. Drums on the EP were left up to the technical playing of Josh Young, formerly of the band The Evan Anthem. Josh is also one of the drummers that helps out for the live shows. Rounding out the line up for live shows is: Brian Miller, also formerly of The Evan Anthem. C of Cortez has been making waves in the central Pennsylvania area by playing various local venues including: The Chameleon Club in Lancaster, Pa and The Championship in Harrisburg, Pa. They have also ventured south to hit the Baltimore, Md hot spot The 8X10 Club. While making fans everywhere they go, more importantly, they are making friends. While playing locally is going well, they aim to tour on a regular schedule.
